Application Instructions:1. The Application Form must be completed and filed with the CTS Admissions Office. Please print legibly or type. Note that all entering students (with the exception of some transfer students) will be automatically enrolled in the M.B.S. program. Transfer students should consult with the Office of the Registrar regarding entrance into the Th.M. program.
2. Please provide complete information under all sections:
General Information
Academic History,
Employment Record.
3. Biblical QualificationsAcademic History,
Employment Record.
Attach to your application the following:
(a) Your personal testimony (500 words maximum)
(b) A description of your spiritual gift(s)
(c) Explanation of problem areas (e.g., bankruptcy, criminal conviction, involvement in a
lawsuit, divorce)
(d) Description of your ministry experiences, particularly in the last 5 years

Please use the enclosed forms for your references. Print your name and current address on each form before giving them to your references. The completed reference form must be returned directly to the CTS Admissions Office by your reference or included with your application in a sealed envelope. One of the three references should be from your pastor.
5. Official Transcripts
The applicant must request official transcripts from each college and university he or she has attended to be sent directly to Chafer Theological Seminary.
6. Spouse’s Statement (if applicable)
If you are married, please ask your spouse to submit a one-page statement expressing his or her viewpoint regarding your pursuit of a training ministry that will occupy much of your time.
7. Demonstration of English Proficiency
If English is not your native language, you may be required to provide TOEFL and TWE scores. Information regarding these tests is available from TOEFL, P.O. Box 6154, Princeton, NJ 08541- 6154.
8. Application Fee
An application fee of $20 must accompany your application. This fee is non-refundable. If your application is late, it must be accompanied by a late application fee of $50.

9. Admission Deadlines
Please submit the requested documents and the application fee no later than June 15 for summer session and fall semester, or November 15 for the winter session and spring semester. Applications may be submitted after these deadlines; however, they will be considered and processed only as time allows.
